In April 2017, Nautec carried out its first offshore grouting operation for the renewable sector in China using NaX® Q140-E UHPC grout. The Binhai North Phase 2 is being developed by the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) of China. In March 2012, Nautec worked with Sarawak Shell Sdn. Bhd. to undertake the inspection and structural reinstatement of conductors for a platform located offshore Sarawak. Nautec was awarded the job to carry out structural integrity analysis; develop a repair methodology to reinstate the damaged section and structural integrity of the conductor. Well inspections carried out by Brunei Shell Petroleum revealed that a significant number of wells were suffering from acute corrosion. Nautec was commissioned to provide long term well integrity services to optimise and extend the service life of their existing wells. Nautec Energy Solutions (Nautec) was contracted to review the potential of Indonesian coal bed methane (CBM) permits in which Ephindo holds interests, in both South Sumatra and East Kalimantan. Based on the review findings, Nautec produced several future reservoir management (RMP) strategies for the Heglig fields with a view of accessing the recoverable reserves. Nautec has completed its grouting services of the Goodwyn-A (GWA) Platform 4 Flare Tower Legs for which they were contracted by Australian oil and gas company Woodside Energy Ltd. Nautec has completed its work to upgrade the Fire Water Caissons at Anoa platform as part of its well integrity campaign for Premier Oil, Indonesia. The reinforced caissons were encased in ultra high performance cementitious (UHPC) grout to prevent corrosion and strengthen the caissons. Nautec have been contracted to carry out Basic Studies, FEED & EPC Tender Package Preparation for a 30” Subsea Gas Pipeline by a major operator in the Middle East. The well-developed field has an extensive infrastructure of well head platforms, process platforms and pipelines. As part of Mumbai High South Field Redevelopment Phase-III, Nautec was engaged to carry out underwater repairs and pile remedial work on a number of platforms.
