Il s’agit du premier film compilant les événements de la série animé en vu d’être diffusé au cinéma.Pendant la révolution industrielle, l’humanité fut menacée par l’émergence soudaine de monstres morts-vivants que l’on ne peut tuer qu’en perçant leur cœur à travers une plaque de fer.
